If you're eager to uncover the locations and methods to find all Iron Hand Guild members in *Assassin’s Creed Shadows*, this comprehensive guide is your starting point.

The Iron Hand in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Explained

Image Source: Ubisoft via The Escapist The Iron Hand questline becomes accessible once Naoe masters the tea ceremony under the guidance of Imai Sokun, a respected businessman in Settsu. Later, you'll reconnect with Imai Sokun as he voices concerns about an imposter exploiting House Imai's name for nefarious business ventures.

Your mission is to dismantle this covert merchant syndicate challenging the legitimate House Imai. You'll need to track down five merchants, each controlling different business sectors. You have the flexibility to approach them either non-lethally or lethally, depending on your playstyle.

How and Where To Find All Iron Hand Guild Members in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

As an early objective in *Assassin’s Creed Shadows*, you'll explore the world, uncover key locations, and use provided clues to pinpoint your targets. This guide streamlines the process, eliminating the guesswork.

Merchant Tamao

Assassin’s Creed® Shadows_20250311162156 Tamao, a dealer in contraband, doesn't hide his illicit dealings. Bypass the intel-gathering and head directly to the Yamashiro region. Find Kyoto, the bustling city center, and locate Honpoji Temple on the east side. Head west from there to find Tamao hiding in his brewery. Listen to his staff revealing his refusal to emerge. To draw him out, smash the barrels in the courtyard, and he'll confront you. Deal with him and proceed to the next target.

Merchant Kanta

Kanta, located in the Mouth of Seta in the Omi region, falls into this category. You can choose to attack or use the Observe mechanic to gather crucial intel, revealing that Kanta is coerced into working for the guild. Spare his life, and he'll transition to a captain in Imai Sokun's merchant fleet.

Merchant Ginroku

Head west to the Tamba region, where you'll find Miyazu Bay just southwest of Miyazu Castle, across the bridge. Here, you can either eliminate Ginroku for his involvement with the Iron Hand or find an important letter in nearby huts, allowing him to escape retribution. Spare him, and he'll collaborate with the real House Imai, gaining access to affluent clients at Sakai Port.

Merchant Kin-no-suke

Travel to Obama city in Wakasa, just east of the Trading Port, to find him. Surrounded by bodyguards, use tactics like smoke bombs and assassinations to deal with them. Ensure Kin-no-suke meets his end.

Iron Hand

Approach from the south side of the castle walls to locate him. Expect heavy resistance from the Iron Hand and his guards. Strategically eliminate the guards before confronting the Iron Hand. Once defeated, return to Imai Sokun to claim your rewards.
