As you embark on the Blast from the Past event, your journey begins with gathering information about a mysterious visitor named Emit. You'll be tasked with watching TV, scouring social media, and chatting with fellow Sims. But the real challenge comes when you're instructed to find the Special Time Capsule in *The Sims 4*.

The clues are sparse, pointing you towards rocks in parks. By this point, you've likely spoken to Emit at the park in Willow Creek, which is an excellent starting point for your search. Wander around the park until you spot a rock that seems to contain diamonds. Approach and interact with this rock to dig for the Special Time Capsule. Be prepared to check multiple rocks, as the capsule might not be in the first one you inspect, but there are plenty of rocks to explore.

What’s Inside of the Special Time Capsule in The Sims 4?

Once you successfully locate the Special Time Capsule, you'll be prompted to open it. Inside, you'll find an IOU note, which might seem underwhelming after all your hard work. Nonetheless, read the note and then return to Emit to unlock further quests in the Blast from the Past event.
