How to Initiate a Trade in MLB The Show 25 Road to the Show

After conquering high school in MLB The Show 25's Road to the Show, you'll face a choice: college or the pros. Either path eventually leads to the big leagues, but sometimes a change of scenery is exactly what you need.

Unlike previous iterations, directly requesting a trade isn't an option in MLB The Show 25. However, there's a clever workaround.

Navigate to the Sliders section within Road to the Show settings. You'll find a "Trade Frequency" slider. Maxing this slider out significantly increases the likelihood of trades happening throughout the mode—including your own. While this doesn't guarantee immediate offers, it dramatically increases your chances.

Once you've generated some buzz around the league, your agent will alert you to potential trade interest. Trade offers will then begin to arrive. Carefully consider each offer; there's no guarantee more will follow. Once you find a suitable team, accept the trade. After joining your new team, remember to adjust the Trade Frequency slider back down to avoid a constant barrage of trade requests.

That's how you effectively "demand" a trade in MLB The Show 25 Road to the Show. Ready for more tips? Check out our guide on the best pitching settings!
