How to Become Godzilla in Fortnite

Starting January 17th, 2025, a rift will randomly appear on the Battle Royale Island in Fortnite Chapter 6. Be the first player to find and jump into this rift, and you'll transform into Godzilla! It's all about speed and luck.

As Godzilla, you'll unleash devastating attacks: a Roar to pinpoint nearby players, a Mighty Stomp Attack to send foes flying, and a powerful Heat Ray to inflict serious damage. However, be warned: the entire lobby will be gunning for you!

How to Defeat Godzilla in Fortnite

If you weren't lucky enough to become Godzilla, you'll have the chance to take him down! Godzilla has weak points; hitting these will cause Godzilla Fragments to drop, granting you 40 health and three dash charges. Mobility is key, so utilize those dashes!

The Rail Gun makes a return for this event, offering a powerful way to deal significant damage quickly. High-rarity weapons are also effective. Focus your fire, because the player who inflicts the most damage on Godzilla will receive the Godzilla Medallion (with its own dash ability) and the exotic Burst Quad Launcher as rewards.

Even if you don't become Godzilla, defeating him offers impressive rewards and bragging rights! This is one battle you won't want to miss.
