Days Gone Reborn Emerges in 2025

Days Gone Remastered roars onto PlayStation 5, boasting a suite of exciting new features. Announced during Sony's February 2025 State of Play, this enhanced edition delivers a refined post-apocalyptic adventure.

Beyond visual upgrades like VRR and PS5 Pro support, key additions include a thrilling permadeath mode, a challenging speedrun mode, a significantly improved photo mode, and expanded accessibility options. A standout addition is Horde Assault, a new arcade mode where players face even larger hordes of Freakers than before.

This release marks another step in Sony's initiative to bring popular PS4 titles to the PS5 with enhanced features. Joining the ranks of The Last of Us Part I and Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, Days Gone Remastered promises a superior experience.

PC players aren't left out. While Days Gone is already available on PC, the $10 Broken Roads DLC will unlock the new modes, enhanced photo mode, DualSense support (where applicable), and accessibility features for PC gamers.

A recent PlayStation Blog post delves deeper into the enhancements. Bend Studio highlights the PS5-optimized visuals, selectable between Performance and Quality modes, and further visual improvements for PS5 Pro users, leveraging DualSense's haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.
