Crab Battle Royale Escalates with King of Crabs Invasion
When King of Crabs first launched in 2019, its unique concept of a battle royale featuring crabs quickly captured the hearts of gamers worldwide. Now, the creative minds at Robot Squid are diving back into the world of crustacean combat with a more ambitious project: King of Crabs – Invasion.
From Epic Crab Battle Royale to Epic Crab Warfare
In King of Crabs – Invasion, Robot Squid has transformed the original game's chaotic free-for-all into a thrilling real-time strategy experience. Instead of dropping into a frenzied tidepool with 99 other players, you now command your crab forces in a more structured, tactical environment. The gameplay shifts from scavenging for weapons and consuming smaller creatures to strategically deploying various units across a linear battlefield.
You have an arsenal at your disposal, including standard crab soldiers, catapults, and formidable mace-wielding tanks equipped with claws. Victory hinges on your ability to outmaneuver and overpower your opponent, all while navigating the challenges presented by diverse maps and unexpected obstacles.
King of Crabs – Invasion Is on Android
King of Crabs – Invasion is already available in select regions including Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Singapore. For players worldwide, the Android launch is scheduled for May 30th, just a few days away. This new title serves as a thrilling spin-off from the original game that introduced us to the quirky world of crab warfare.
The original King of Crabs was the debut project from Robot Squid, a British indie studio established in 2018. Collaborating with Spilt Milk Studios, they released the game in 2020 across platforms including Microsoft Windows, Android, and iOS. At its height, it was affectionately dubbed "Fortnite with claws" by its fans.
