Further expansion is promised with "Right to Rule," a second DLC scheduled for release in Q2 or Q3 2025 (April-September). This expansion will add two more leaders, four new civilizations, and additional natural wonders.
March also sees the addition of new in-game events and natural wonders, including the Bermuda Triangle and Mount Everest, enhancing gameplay and strategic depth. Firaxis has committed to ongoing improvements and challenges.
Civilization VII will be available across all major platforms: PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Deluxe and Founders Edition owners gain five days early access, beginning February 6th. A day-one patch will also be released alongside the game's official launch on February 11th.
Firaxis and 2K have declared Civilization VII "gold," signifying the completion of primary development and eliminating further delays, barring unforeseen circumstances. Steam Deck compatibility is confirmed. Prepare for global conquest!
