Here's a summary of what Civ 7 players can expect in 2025:

February 6th	Early Access begins for Deluxe and Founders Editions.
February 11th	Global launch.
Early March	Crossroads of the World DLC: Ada Lovelace, Carthage, Great Britain, 4 new Natural Wonders. 1.1.0 Major Update including Natural Wonder Battle and Bermuda Triangle.
Late March	Crossroads of the World DLC: Simon Bolivar, Bulgaria, Nepal. 1.1.1 Update, introducing Marvelous Mountains and Mount Everest.
April - September	Right to Rule DLC: 2 new Leaders, 4 new Civilizations, 4 new World Wonders.

Civ 7 Free Updates

Firaxis will prioritize community feedback for ongoing free updates. Initial updates will focus on balancing, bug fixes, and quality-of-life improvements. Subsequent updates will prioritize:

Multiplayer team functionality for cooperative play.
Expansion of multiplayer to 8 players across all ages, optimizing the Distant Land system.
Player selection of starting and ending ages for customized game lengths.
Increased map type variety.
Hotseat multiplayer mode.
