Onimusha: Way of the Sword, slated for release in 2026, promises to bring fresh excitement to the iconic franchise. The development team is focusing on three core pillars: compelling characters, a new protagonist, and engaging enemies. They aim to authentically recreate the historical ambiance of Kyoto, complete with real-life locations. The game is designed to deliver the ultimate sword fighting action experience, emphasizing the visceral satisfaction of combat.

Set during the Edo Period, players will battle the evil Genma creatures. The protagonist, armed with the powerful Oni Gauntlet, will face challenges designed to be enjoyable for action fans of all skill levels, ensuring a rewarding experience without overwhelming difficulty.

Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta 2 to Feature Flagship Monster Arkveld

The second Open Beta test for Monster Hunter Wilds introduces the flagship monster, Arkveld, in a challenging quest. Players can also participate in a Gypceros Hunt, explore a training area, and experience new online features like Private Lobbies and Online Single Player mode. Private Lobbies remain hidden from searches, ideal for gaming with friends, while Online Single Player allows solo play with the option to join multiplayer via an S.O.S. Flare.

Data from the first Open Beta can be transferred to the second, with Character Creator, Story Trial, and Doshaguma hunt returning. The full game launches on February 28, with the Open Beta 2 featuring Cross-Play available during:
