Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 Simplifies Camo Progression with New Tracking Feature

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 launched today, introducing a game-changing feature that streamlines camo progression: Camo Challenge Tracking. This handy tool significantly reduces the grind, making the pursuit of Dark Matter, Nebula, and 100 Percenter significantly easier.

The Camo Challenge Tracker allows players to manually select up to 10 camo and 10 calling card challenges for active tracking. This provides readily accessible progress updates during gameplay, eliminating the need to constantly check the main menu. The system also intelligently notifies players of near-completion for challenges, even those not actively tracked.

How to Track Camo and Calling Card Challenges

To add a challenge to your tracker, navigate to the desired camo or calling card challenge. Press Y (Xbox) or Triangle (PlayStation) to add it to your tracked list. You can then monitor your progress live during matches, instantly seeing what's needed for advancement.

The game automatically highlights challenges nearing completion, even if not manually tracked. This information is always visible, providing a clear picture of your progress. The lobby's Daily Challenge section also displays a complete list of near-complete camo and calling card challenges.

Season 2 also simplifies special camo unlocking. Previously, nine military camos were required. This has been reduced to five, although two special camos are still needed to unlock mastery camos.

This update directly addresses player feedback regarding the sheer number of camos and the difficulty of tracking progress. Treyarch has clearly listened, implementing more efficient methods for earning and equipping camos, enhancing the overall Black Ops 6 experience.
