"Breath of Fire IV Revived on PC, 25 Years Post-Launch"
After a 25-year wait, fans of the classic RPG series can rejoice as Capcom's beloved Breath of Fire IV makes its triumphant return to PC gaming. Originally launched on the PlayStation in Japan and North America in 2000, and in Europe the following year, the game saw a PC port in Europe and Japan in 2003. Now, thanks to GOG's ongoing Preservation Program, this gem has been meticulously updated for today's PCs and is available DRM-free on their platform.
In Breath of Fire IV, players follow the journey of Ryu, a man with the unique ability to transform into a dragon. Alongside a group of warriors, Ryu embarks on a quest to thwart an emperor's destructive ambitions and save the world.
