The Patch 8 stress test update addresses various bugs, crashes, and scripting errors. It also ensures Gale correctly interacts with magical items. This update is only available to those participating in the stress test. Players not in the test will need to wait for the official Patch 8 release to experience these improvements.

Key improvements include: persistent container contents after destruction, improved Steam Deck Photo Mode screenshotting, more responsive character poses, enhanced cross-play functionality, updated Booming Blade tooltip values, and numerous crash fixes. Patch 8 is a major update, anticipated to be one of the final large content additions before Larian moves on from Faerûn. Apply post-processing effects, stickers, and frames to personalize your creations. Note that during dialogues and cutscenes, only post-processing effects are available.
