Ayaneo Launches Two New Android Gaming Devices at GDC 2025

At GDC 2025 in San Francisco, Ayaneo, a Chinese company renowned for its handheld gaming devices since its inception in 2020, unveiled its first foray into the Android gaming market. Initially known for its Windows-based handheld gaming PCs, Ayaneo has now expanded its impressive lineup to include two new Android gaming devices: the Ayaneo Gaming Pad and the Ayaneo Pocket S2.

What Are the Two New Ayaneo Android Gaming Devices?

The Ayaneo Gaming Pad is an Android gaming tablet, while the Ayaneo Pocket S2 is a new handheld gaming device. Both are powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon G3 Gen 3 platform, which marks a significant leap in CPU and GPU performance compared to its predecessor. This makes them among the first devices to leverage this cutting-edge hardware.

The Ayaneo Gaming Pad features an 8.3-inch LCD screen with a 1440p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, delivering smooth and vivid visuals. It supports advanced features like hardware-accelerated ray tracing and Snapdragon Game Super Resolution, enhancing gaming experiences. Additionally, it includes Wi-Fi 7 connectivity for superior online gaming performance. The tablet's design is both sleek and durable, boasting a glass back and a CNC-machined metal frame. It also comes equipped with a 50MP main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP front-facing camera, setting it apart as one of the few gaming tablets with high-end camera capabilities.

Complementing the tablet, the Ayaneo Pocket S2 is a compact handheld device featuring a 6.3-inch 1440p display. It introduces an upgraded Hall-effect joystick, linear triggers, and dual X-axis motors for enhanced haptic feedback, ensuring a more immersive gaming experience. The Pocket S2 runs on Ayaneo’s proprietary software, AyaSpace and AyaHome, which offer robust game management and customization options. Like the Gaming Pad, it utilizes the Snapdragon G3 Gen 3 platform for improved energy efficiency and performance, including support for hardware-accelerated ray tracing.

For those eager to delve deeper into these devices, Ayaneo's official website is the place to go. Although pricing and availability details have not been disclosed yet, stay tuned for more updates soon.
