Asphalt Legends Unite introduces new Lego Technic vehicles

Asphalt Legends Unite is teaming up with LEGO, bringing the iconic LEGO Technic line of car kits into the game. Real-world LEGO Technic car kits, such as the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, will include a download code to unlock their virtual counterparts in the game.

Gameloft's racing simulator has a history of unique collaborations, including a previous partnership with Lamborghini. This LEGO Technic collaboration marks a new level of integration, allowing players to build real-world LEGO cars and then race them virtually. LEGO Technic kits are known for their complexity and detail, featuring moving parts like engines and differentials.

To celebrate the launch, a limited-time Collector Mode event runs until March 23rd. This event challenges players across all platforms and regions to collect LEGO Technic disks scattered throughout San Francisco in a special single-player race.

While some might see the addition of LEGO as incongruous to a serious racing simulator, the LEGO Technic line appeals to a broad audience, inspiring both budding and experienced engineers with its intricate designs and realistic details. The collaboration offers a unique blend of physical and digital play. Building the real-world LEGO Technic car unlocks its digital version for in-game racing.
