How to Complete All Arata Stages in GHOUL://RE

After extensive testing, we've cracked the code to complete all three Arata stages in *GHOUL://RE*. While these stages don't require advanced gaming skills or extensive exploration, they do demand significant Reputation grinding. And when we say significant, we mean it!

Arata Stage 1 in GHOUL://RE

To start, you need to accumulate **25,000 Reputation** points and reach the highest rank of **Special Investigator** within the C.C.G. organization. Head to the **Commission of Counter Ghoul** (C.C.G. center) and find **Damiro D. Mado**, the NPC with headphones on the second floor. He'll give you the Arata Stage 1 quest, which requires you to gather **10 one-eyed fragments** and **10 Kokuja fragments**.

The quickest way to obtain these fragments is by defeating bosses like **Eto and Tatara**, then crafting them at the crafting table. To check your Reputation, speak to **Saiyo Natsuki**, the NPC in a black suit and tie. Once you've collected **all 20 fragments**, convert them into **five one-eyed Kokuja fragments** at the crafting station. Arata Stage 2 in GHOUL://RE

To progress to **Arata stages 2 and 3**, you must switch to **permadeath** (PD) mode to acquire the legendary armor. It's advisable to have a reliable team, as solo missions can be challenging.

Once you've amassed **100,000 Reputation points**, head to the elevator in the C.C.G. building and go to **the Laboratory**. There, speak with **Black Reaper of Doom And Despair**, the man with the scalpel in a black suit by the door.

Hand over five one-eyed Kokuja fragments along with your 100,000 Reputation, and you'll complete Stage 2, acquiring the **Arata-Proto armor**. There's been much debate online about the required Reputation, with some players suggesting 75,000 or 90,000 to 100,000 points, but we've found that **100,000 Reputation points** ensure success.

Remember, you must play Arata Stages 2 and 3 on **PD servers only**. Attempting this outside PD mode will result in a repeated response from the Black Reaper, and you **will not complete** Arata Stage 2 or access Stage 3.

Arata Stage 3 in GHOUL://RE

The final Arata Stage also involves "The Scalpel Guy", fragments, and a substantial amount of cash. Continue playing in **PD mode** to pursue the epic armor.

Once you've secured **one one-eyed Kakuja fragment** and **500,000 Yen**, return to **Black Reaper of Doom And Despair** in the C.C.G. building. After paying him, he'll teleport you to face the **Kishou Arima boss**.

To defeat Kishou Arima, you'll need at least average gaming skills, involving a lot of jumping, dodging, blocking, and dealing significant damage from above. Although challenging, with practice, even players of moderate skill can triumph over him.

Be prepared for potential deaths during this encounter. Ensure you have ample resources, as repeating the boss fight requires an additional **one-eyed Kakuja fragment** and **500,000 Yen** per attempt.

Once you defeat Kishou Arima, you'll unlock Stage 3 Arata-Proto armor. However, remember that while the armor provides impressive buffs and protection, it also has significant drawbacks, as detailed below.

Arata Armor Tips & Tricks

**Arata-Proto Armor Buffs**

The Arata armor is powerful but comes with a cost: it **drains your hunger** at an alarming rate, and you can't eat while wearing it across all stages. To replenish your hunger, you must remove the Arata armor.

However, the benefits are substantial. Firstly, **you cannot be ragdolled** while wearing Arata, providing a significant advantage in any scenario.

The armor also enhances your equipment, making your character **increasingly "tanky"**, capable of withstanding and dealing immense damage. If the armor depletes your hunger during combat, it will then consume your **health bar**. Be cautious during boss fights; you can always remove the armor if it becomes too risky and heal up.

**Reputation Grinding**

The most efficient way to gain the vast amount of required Reputation is by **fighting bosses in PD mode**. Although risky, each boss defeated in PD mode grants **1,500 Reputation**, far surpassing the **500** earned outside PD. Killing Ghouls yields only **100 Reputation** points per kill, making them less ideal for grinding during the Arata quests.
