Applin and Dynamax Entei to Debut in Pokémon Go This Month
Two exciting events are on the horizon for Pokémon Go enthusiasts this month, each bringing unique experiences and new Pokémon from the Galar region. Whether you're drawn to the charm of Applin or the intensity of Dynamax Entei, there's something for everyone.
The Sweet Discoveries event, running from April 24th to 29th, introduces the adorable Dragon/Grass-type Applin. To evolve Applin, you'll need 200 Applin Candy and 20 apples. Use Tart Apples to evolve Applin into Flapple, or Sweet Apples to get Appletun. You can find these apples in the wild, especially around areas with Mossy Lures, which may also increase your chances of encountering Applin.
During Sweet Discoveries, expect to see Bounsweet, Skwovet, and Delibird as wild spawns. Field Research and Eggs will offer opportunities to catch themed Pokémon like Munchlax and Cherubi. Timed Research, available in both free and paid versions, will provide Sweet and Tart Apples. The paid version offers additional benefits, including extra Mossy Lure Modules and more Applin encounters.
Don't miss out on the Applin Headband and Apron available in the shop, and keep an eye on PokéStop Showcases featuring themed Pokémon. For those seeking power over sweetness, mark your calendar for the Max Battle Weekend from April 26th to 27th, where Dynamax Entei makes its debut. You might even encounter a Shiny Entei if luck is on your side.
Prepare for these events by redeeming Pokémon Go codes from this list!
During both events, enjoy several bonuses, including an increased Max Particle cap, reduced adventuring distance to collect them, and enhanced Power Spot refresh rates. You'll earn eight times more Max Particles from each Power Spot visited. Leading up to the Max Battle Weekend, free Timed Research starts on April 21st, rewarding you with a Dynamax Sobble to help counter Entei's fiery attacks.
Gear up for both events by visiting the Pokémon Go Web Store.
