Apple Arcade Revives Classic Games in March 2025
Apple Arcade Announces March Lineup: Piano Tiles 2+ and Crazy Eights: Card Games+
While Apple Arcade subscribers are still enjoying Valentine's Day updates across various titles, Apple has revealed its March offerings. Fans of classic games will be pleased with the addition of Piano Tiles 2+ and Crazy Eights: Card Games+, both launching on March 6th.
Piano Tiles 2+ offers a polished version of the popular rhythm game, boasting smoother gameplay and an expanded music library encompassing classical, dance, and ragtime styles. The core gameplay remains the same – tap the black tiles in time with the music, avoiding the white ones – but with enhanced visuals and the absence of ads, it's a refined experience for the over one billion players worldwide.
For card game enthusiasts, Crazy Eights: Card Games+ presents a strategic twist on the classic. Players match cards by number or color, aiming to empty their hands first. However, the Arcade version introduces new elements like stacking +2 cards and wildcards, adding layers of strategic depth. Competitive leaderboards and multiple game modes ensure replayability.
Beyond these new releases, several existing Apple Arcade games will receive updates. Highlights include:
- Bloons TD 6+: Introduces "Rogue Legends," a rogue-lite mode with procedurally generated single-player campaigns.
- What The Golf?: and Wheel of Fortune Daily: Feature Valentine's Day-themed content.
- Tomb of the Mask+: Adds a Samurai-themed color quest.
- A Slight Chance of Sawblades+: Introduces a new dinosaur character, Deeno, along with new sawblades and backgrounds.
- Castle Crumble: Expands with the Mystic Marsh Kingdom, including 40 new levels, a new boss, and a conquest mode.
March promises a diverse range of gaming experiences on Apple Arcade, catering to both casual and hardcore players.
