How To Get Great Ape Form in Dragon Soul

In Dragon Soul, the Great Ape form, while not the most challenging level-wise, is arguably the most prestigious and coolest transformation. This guide will help you obtain it relatively easily.

The quickest route is purchasing it directly for 12,000 Robux (approximately $120). However, for the budget-conscious Goku wannabe, there's a more rewarding (though time-consuming) method.

After reaching level 900, journey to the Ape Wastelands to acquire the Saiyan Tail. This requires defeating the Great Ape, but be warned: the drop rate is a mere 1%. Prepare for multiple encounters.

Access the Ape Wastelands by flying to the northwestern part of the island (a barren wasteland), or teleporting there for a small Robux fee.

The Great Ape spawns on a plateau within the Ape Wastelands (pictured below). Spawning takes approximately one hour, or you can expedite it for 5 Robux via a nearby NPC.

Once you secure the Saiyan Tail, the next challenge is Vegeta. Defeat him 30 times! Each subsequent Vegeta will be stronger than the last, respawning every 12 hours. This grueling task will take approximately 15 days.

After 30 victories, Vegeta grants you the Great Ape form—an incredibly fun and addictive transformation, though with limitations. Only one Great Ape can exist per server, and server hopping might be necessary. The game's inherent bugs can also make controlling the Great Ape challenging.
