"Anno 117: Pax Romana Trailer Unveils Roman Empire Expansion Gameplay"
Ubisoft Mainz has recently pulled back the curtain on more exciting details about Anno 117: Pax Romana with a brand-new trailer. While initial announcements hinted at the exploration of two distinct regions—Lazio and Albion—the latest preview suggests that Lazio serves as the initial setting before players make their way to the main stage in Albion.
According to Creative Director Manuel Rainer, Lazio starts off as a tranquil haven, but an unexpected disaster forces players to venture into the uncharted territories of Britain, known as Albion. This new region presents its own set of challenges: a harsh climate, rebellious tribes, and its considerable distance from Rome, all of which make governance a daunting task.
In the game, players take on the role of a governor, tasked with navigating these challenges without solely relying on violence. Instead, fostering harmony by respecting and integrating local customs is key. A notable feature of the game includes the ability to customize ships, allowing players to strategically choose between speed enhancements with oarsmen or bolstering firepower with onboard archery turrets.
Anno 117: Pax Romana is set to launch in 2025, and will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series S/X platforms, promising a rich and engaging experience for strategy game enthusiasts.
