Albion Online's Rogue Frontier Update: Smugglers, New Weapons, and More!

Sandbox Interactive's medieval fantasy MMORPG, Albion Online, is getting a major update on February 3rd: Rogue Frontier! This first major update of the year introduces exciting new content centered around a rebellious group known as the Smugglers.

Outland Adventures

The Smugglers, tired of the Royal Continent's strict laws, have established a presence in the lawless Outlands. They operate from hidden underground bases called Smuggler's Dens, serving as crucial hubs for players. These dens provide banking, repair services, and a central point for planning Outlands expeditions. The dens are interconnected via the Smuggler's Network, a sophisticated marketplace system spanning the Outlands.

Players can actively participate in the ongoing conflict between the Smugglers and the Royal Guards. Missions include rescuing captured Smugglers and delivering contraband found within Smuggler Crates.

Rewards for Loyalty

Show your allegiance to the Smugglers, and Maggy Slade, a mysterious trader residing in the dens, will reward your loyalty. Exclusive rewards include a Smuggler's Vanity Set, a Smuggler's Cape (with a unique ability to reduce potion cooldowns), a Smuggler's Ring, and a new avatar.

New Features and Weapons

Rogue Frontier introduces Kill Trophies, dropped by defeated players. The quality of the loot from the defeated player directly impacts the chance of obtaining a trophy.

The update also brings three stylish new weapons:

• Rotcaller Staff: Summons a chilling mist that repels enemies.
• Skystrider Bow: Allows players to levitate and unleash ranged attacks from above.
• Forcepulse Bracers: Unleashes shockwaves as the player dashes into combat.
