How to Play

Ludo is a classic dice and race game where each player has four pieces per house and uses a set of dice. Naija Ludo currently supports two players, each controlling eight pieces across two houses. The objective is to move all eight pieces to the home position before your opponent.

Movement of Pieces

The player with the red house starts the game. In case of a win, the loser takes the red house in the next round. A piece can only leave the house when a die roll results in a 6, but once on the track, it can move with any die outcome. Pieces travel along a 56-step track from home to the center of the board. A piece is removed if it completes the 56 steps or captures an opponent's piece.

Piece Capture

A piece can capture an opponent's piece by landing on the same block, sending the captured piece back to its home. The key to victory is to capture as many of your opponent's pieces as possible while avoiding being captured yourself. However, a piece cannot capture if the remaining die outcome cannot be used.

Important Notes

  1. A player can roll the dice consecutively only if each roll results in a 6.
  2. Each die outcome must be played out before rolling again, regardless of the result.
  3. For a smoother and faster game experience, go to settings and enable DIRECT COUNT.
