Application Description
Koikoi is a captivating game played with Hanafuda, traditional Japanese playing cards, offering a unique blend of strategy and luck. Here's how you can dive into the world of Koikoi:
How to Play Koikoi
In Koikoi, players take turns throwing cards onto the table. If a card you play matches the month of a card already on the table, you can capture both cards. This action not only clears the table but also adds to your collection of cards for scoring.
The game reaches a pivotal moment when a player assembles a flush—cards of the same month. At this point, you have a choice: end the game to score points from your current hand or continue playing ("Koikoi") to potentially earn more points, albeit with the risk of losing everything if the next round doesn't go your way.
If neither player can score from the cards on the table, the round is considered a draw, and no points are awarded. The ultimate goal is to accumulate the highest total score over 12 games, crowning the player with the most points as the winner.
Conveniently, your game records in Koikoi will be saved automatically, allowing you to track your progress and strategize for future games.
