The game begins with a series of dashes representing each letter of the hidden word. Players select letters one at a time, hoping to fill in the blanks correctly. If the chosen letter is part of the word, it appears in its correct position(s). However, if the letter is incorrect, a part of the hangman figure is added, starting with the head, followed by the torso, right arm, left arm, right leg, and finally the left leg.

The goal is to guess the word before the entire figure is completed, thus avoiding the "hanging" of the figure. It's a race against time and mistakes, making it both thrilling and educational.
