NightDive Studios a annoncé un changement de nom et une nouvelle plate-forme pour la version modernisée du classique d'horreur de science-fiction 1999, System Shock 2 . Désormais intitulé System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster , cette édition améliorée sera lancée sur Nintendo Switch, en plus de ses plates-formes annoncées précédemment.

System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster sera bientôt disponible sur Windows PC (via Steam et GOG), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S et Nintendo Switch.

Le synopsis officiel se lit comme suit:

L'année est de 2114. Le réveil de la cryo-sommeil à bord du navire FTL von Braun, vous vous retrouvez souffrant d'amnésie. Quelque chose a terriblement mal tourné. Les mutants hybrides et les robots mortels parcourent les couloirs du navire, leurs cris effrayants résonnant dans les salles froides et métalliques.
