Privacy and Control

Your privacy is paramount with FortiToken Mobile. The app does not alter your phone's settings, capture images or video, record or transmit audio, nor does it access your email or browsing history. Any notifications or setting changes require your explicit permission. Importantly, FortiToken Mobile cannot remotely wipe your device. The app's visibility into your device is limited to checking your OS version for compatibility purposes. During manual token installation, you may enter sensitive information such as your email address or token seeds, which are used for 3rd party tokens and token transfers.

Although FortiToken Mobile does not modify settings without your consent, it does require specific permissions to operate effectively:

• Access to the camera is necessary for scanning QR codes, which simplifies the token activation process.
• TouchID/FaceID is utilized to enhance app security.
• Internet access is needed for token activation and receiving push notifications.

• The app keeps your phone awake during database upgrades to prevent data corruption.
