Fans of Ragnarok Online now have a new way to enjoy their favourite franchise on the go. No, it's not a new entry in the series proper, but it's set to be just as fun, as now you can fight alongside those adorable Porings in new adventure game Poring Rush, releasing today!

Bei der Erkundung von Rush kämpfst du dir deinen Weg durch immer schwieriger werdende Feindgruppen, unterstützt von den Titelkreaturen. Du sammelst neue, stärkere Rüstungen, Waffen und Gegenstände, erweiterst gleichzeitig deine Auswahl an Porings und schnappst dir noch größere Schätze aus 3-Gewinnt-Minispielen und mehr. Um den Start zu feiern, soll ein siebentägiges Missionsevent stattfinden!
Für diejenigen, die es nicht kennen: Die Porings sind eine Vielzahl ikonischer Low-Level-Feinde aus Ragnarok Online. Ähnlich wie die Schleime, die man in Franchises wie Dragon Quest findet, haben sich Porings von einfachen Feinden zu wohl Maskottchen der gesamten Serie entwickelt. Es gab sogar schon Spin-offs, wie das Match-3-Spiel Angel Poring.

Es fühlt sich an, als hätte fast jede Fantasy-Serie eine Maskottchenfigur. Für das oben erwähnte Dragon Quest sind es Slimes, für etwas wie Dungeons & Dragons sind es gallertartige Würfel (oder vielleicht Kobolde) und für Dark Souls ist es äh... Ich weiß nicht, Hagar die Schreckliche?
