Der taktische PvP-Mobile-Shooter War Robots führt etwas Lautes, Metallisches und ausgesprochen Schwedisches ein. Der Entwickler Pixonic und der Publisher MY.GAMES haben eine Zusammenarbeit zwischen War Robots und der legendären Heavy-Metal-Band Sabaton angekündigt.

Diese Partnerschaft würdigt die treue Fangemeinde der Band innerhalb der Spiel-Community und fällt mit der Veröffentlichung von Sabatons neuestem Album "Legends" zusammen. Ein Titel des Albums ist nun als Teil von Update 11.5, das derzeit auf allen Plattformen live ist, in das Spiel integriert.

Das War Robots x Sabaton-Crossover startet zusammen mit dem Fire-Storm-Spielevent, das vom 28. Oktober bis zum 9. Dezember läuft. Durch das Einloggen in diesem Zeitraum werden die Spieler feststellen, dass ihre Hangars mit einem neuen, vom "Legends"-Albumcover inspirierten Design neu gestaltet wurden.

Laut War-Robots-Produzent Boris Burangulov wurde diese Zusammenarbeit vollständig durch Community-Feedback vorangetrieben. Das Entwicklungsteam befragt die Spieler häufig zu ihren Interessen außerhalb des Spiels.
