Auction Bridge and International Bridge (IB) is a bridge card game variant.

Evolving from bridge whist, Auction Bridge & International Bridge (IB) represents the third stage in bridge's development. A precursor to contract bridge, its lineage traces back to whist and bridge whist.

Auction Bridge & IB's scoring system—for tricks, bonuses, and penalties—differs significantly from contract bridge. Vulnerability, a key element in contract bridge, is absent here.

Trump selection is largely similar, though contract bridge employs a more intricate process. Gameplay and rules share considerable resemblance with contract bridge.

The dealer initiates trump selection, committing to win at least the odd trick in a chosen trump suit or no-trump. Winning bids are determined by point value (excluding doubles), not solely by the number of tricks. For instance, 3 Spades (27 points) trumps 4 Clubs (24 points).

Trick scoring beyond six tricks is as follows:

• No-trump: 10 points
• Spades: 9 points
• Hearts: 8 points
• Diamonds: 7 points
• Clubs: 6 points

A game totals 30 points.
