GameSir is once again levelling up its controller dominance with the new Cyclone 2, a multi-platform peripheral that's compatible with iOS, Android, Switch, PC and Steam. Featuring TMR sticks that boast Mag-Res Technology as well as Micro-Switch buttons, the controller has tri-mode connectivity (Bluetooth, wired, and 2.4GHz wireless) to make sure there's no excuse when you're gaming on the go.

Het lijkt erop dat GameSir de laatste tijd de controllerscène op zijn kop zet, en de Cyclone 2 lijkt die populariteit te vergroten met zijn aanpasbare RGB-verlichtingsstrips. Als je je, net als ik, gemakkelijk aangetrokken voelt tot glimmende dingen, zouden deze lichten een geweldige manier moeten zijn om je tegenstanders te laten zien dat je serieuze zaken meent. Het is ook verkrijgbaar in Shadow Black en Phantom White - kleuropties zijn naar mijn mening altijd een goede zaak.

Nu heb ik de Mag-Res TMR Sticks genoemd, die, volgens GameSir's eigen beschrijving, "de precisie van traditionele potentiometerstokken met de duurzaamheid van Hall Effect-technologie". Het is een stapje hoger dan de voorganger van de controller en belooft een nog hogere nauwkeurigheid en betere duurzaamheid te leveren. Niemand wil tenslotte zijn controller kapot maken door een beetje op de knoppen te drukken.

                
                
                
                
There's tactile feedback too, by the way, which is enabled by the asymmetric motors of the GameSir Cyclone 2. This supposedly offers vibrations that are immersive yet subtle - a useful feature to have when you're in the midst of a heated match.

Er is trouwens ook voelbare feedback, die wordt mogelijk gemaakt door de asymmetrische motoren van de GameSir Cyclone 2. Dit biedt vermoedelijk trillingen die meeslepend en toch subtiel zijn - een handige functie als je midden in een verhitte wedstrijd zit.
