Marvel Comics devrait relancer sa série phare de bandes dessinées Star Wars en mai 2025. Cette nouvelle série, reprenant la bataille de Jakku et la conclusion de la guerre civile galactique, suivra Luke Skywalker, Han Solo et Leia Organa pendant qu'ils fonctionnent Pour établir la nouvelle République et rendre l'ordre à une galaxie encore sous le choc du conflit.

Alex Segura, écrivain de la mini-série Star Wars: The Battle of Jakku , stylise ce dernier volume. L'illustrateur vétéran Star Wars Phil Noto ( Star Wars: Poe Dameron ) donne vie à l'histoire, avec Noto et Leinil Yu contribuant à la couverture pour le premier numéro.

Situé environ deux ans après le retour de la série Jedi , Segura et Noto Star Wars se déroule dans une époque pleine d'espoir mais précaire. La Nouvelle République s'efforce de la domination galactique, mais fait face à des défis immédiats des pirates opportunistes, des criminels et d'autres menaces émergentes exploitant le vide de pouvoir.

Noto a ajouté: "Alex est un écrivain phénoménal, fabriquant des scénarios convaincants et des personnages originaux pour cette série, et je suis ravi de les amener sur la page! Il a été particulièrement gratifiant de représenter les personnages classiques du post- Retour du Jedi Période, car il n'y a pas de homologues de film ou de télévision existants.

Star Wars * # 1 lance le 7 mai 2025, coïncidant avec les célébrations de la Journée Star Wars.
