"L'horreur a toujours été là où je me sens le plus à l'aise, quelque chose qu'Andrea et moi partageons", a déclaré Bechko dans le communiqué de presse d'Oni. «Avec le groupe sanguin , nous avons fabriqué une histoire méchante en détendant sur un personnage que je suis tombé amoureux du moment où elle est apparue sur la page. M'aime-t-elle en retour? Pas une chance, et c'est son charme. C'est un vampire, mais elle ne scintille pas ou n'espire pas à la romance. Elle est cependant prête à conquérir un paradis tropical. »
